Interests
I am interested in how organisms adapt to their changing environment.
My research is focused on the phenotypic flexibility phenomenon in the mangrove rivulus (Kryptolebias marmoratus), widely known for its auto-fertilizing capacity that allows obtaining several isogenic lineages with distinct phenotypes. By using four isogenic lineages undergoing two endocrine disruptive chemicals exposures, I wonder how environmental and genotypic variance influence phenotypic variance. I will use two complementary approaches by studying the proteome of brain cells and the behavior. More precisely, I would like to understand the molecular mechanisms responsible for a behavioral phenotype changing, allowing the organism to adapt its phenotype to its new environment.
