– Bourses de voyages de la Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles

L’appel 2014 pour les bourses de voyage de la Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles sera prochainement lancé.
Nous attendons la signature du Ministre mais sommes déjà en mesure de vous communiquer les dates importantes afin de postuler à cet appel. Comme chaque année, ces bourses de voyage permettront à des doctorants, boursiers, assistants ou aspirants FNRS d’effectuer, dans le cadre de leur doctorat, un séjour de recherche à l’étranger de 2 à 6 mois, à réaliser entre le 1er avril 2014 et le 30 septembre 2015. Les bourses contribuent à la couverture de frais de voyage et de séjour.

* Research program for youg teams

HFSP supports international scientific collaborations. Research Grants are awarded for innovative research projects involving extensive collaboration among teams of independent scientists working in different countries and in different disciplines.
Two types of grants are available: Young Investigator Grants for teams where all members are within 5 years of starting their first independent position (and within 10 years of receiving a PhD) and Program Grants for teams of scientists at any stage of their careers.
Applicants must first submit a letter of intent via the HFSP extranet. More details are available in the guidelines.
The 2014 competition (applications in March 2013 for awards to be announced in March 2014) is now restricted to the teams invited to submit a full application.
The next call for letters of intent is expected to be announced in December 2013.

* post-doc
Long-Term Fellowships (LTF) are reserved for applicants with a Ph.D. in a biological discipline to embark on a new project in a different field of the life sciences. Preference is given to applicants who propose an original study in biology that marks a departure from their previous Ph.D. or postdoctoral work so as to learn new methods or change study system.

* Initial Training Networks (ITN) – an action providing training opportunities for Early Stage Researchers usually provided by a network of universities, businesses and research institutes;
* Intra-European Fellowships for Career Development (IEF) – an individual grant allowing an Experienced Researcher to move within Europe to pursue his/her research project;
* Career Integration Grants (CIG) – a lump sum to encourage Experienced Researchers to settle/return in Europe;
* Co-funding of Regional, National, and International Programmes (COFUND) – a co-funding mechanism providing an-extra financial support to national, regional research mobility programmes;
* Industry Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP) – an action promoting partnership and collaboration between business and academia. Early Stage Researchers, Experienced Researchers, or technical research staff can participate;
* International Outgoing Fellowships (IOF) – an individual grant for Experienced Researchers willing to receive a research training in a host institution in a third country (outside Europe);
* International Incoming Fellowships (IIF) – an individual grant for Experienced Researchers based in third countries (non-Europeans) willing to receive a research training in a host institution based in Europe;
* International Research Staff Exchange Scheme (IRSES) – a staff exchange scheme fostering collaboration between research institutions based in Europe and in Third countries.
