New article using proteomics in the rivulus

A new publication from our former PhD student Anne-Sophie Voisin is now available in Journal of Proteomics. We showed that adult mangrove rivulus exposed during early life stages to an endocrine disrupting chemical (17-alpha-ethinylestradiol) present significant changes on the protein expression profile in brain, liver and gonads in adults, 5 months after the end of…

New article published in Aquatic Toxicology

Our PhD student Elodie Falisse has published a research article in Aquatic Toxicology about the effects of the bactericide product Triclosan on zebrafish larvae. She combined multidisciplinary approaches such as physiology, biochemistry and proteomics. Main results suggest that triclosan might disturb the development of zebrafish larvae and induce compensatory mechanisms. The article can be found…

New publication in Journal of Proteomics

A new scientific article has been accepted for publication in Journal of Proteomics. It shows up the last results obtained during the thesis of Kathleen Roland and introduces the concept of integrated biomarker index using proteomics for the monitoring of endangered species, such as the European eel. Anne-Sophie Voisin at an international course on targeted proteomics

Our PhD student Anne-Sophie Voisin attended a high level international course on targeted proteomics in Barcelona. This class was organized by the MacCoss Lab, the Skyline software editor, and EMBO. This will push the lab into a better knowledge of using this extremely precise proteomics approach in fish species. Click here to go to the…

New article published in Aquatic Toxicology

A new article entitled “Effects of cadmium exposure on the gill proteome of Cottus gobio:Modulatory effects of prior thermal acclimation” has been published in Aquatic Toxicology (IF:3.730) by our post-doc researher Jennifer Dorts : http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0166445X14001593 Aquatic organisms such as fish are, in most cases, exposed to multiple stressors simultaneously or in sequence that are either…
